| So you're not reading them in order? *gasp* XD Just kidding. Well the actual order is: Artemis Fowl, Artemis Fowl and the Arctic Incident, Artemis Fowl and the Eternity Code, Artemis Fowl and the Opal Deception, and Artemis Fowl and the Lost Colony. The last book is coming out in August. =) It's called Artemis Fowl and the Time Paradox. - Spoiler:
The Time Paradox is about Artemis going back in time to meet himself or something like that. It's weird. xD

| The Opal deception doesn't look that appealing to me, just because I like when Artemis teams up with Holly and the LEP. He's lost his memory. I'm so far gonna read it in this order: Artemis Fowl, Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident, Artemis Fowl: The Eternity Code, Artemis Fowl: The Lost Colony, and either the Opal Deception or Time Paradox depending on when I read them. | |

I liked eternity of code the most, because Artemis definitely lived up to his potential in plotting in that book.
Artemis' character is really intriguing to me, so he's become one of my most favorite book characters.

It runs on the bottom of every UK book and on the First, Fourth, Fifth and Six books from US.
The second and third US book has codes on the covers. (I'm starting to spew everything out, aren't I?)
It's essentially Gnommish... and the code can range from serious to random to funny, or to even stories about characters' pasts.

sure, she's a Sue. But if her character was developed more, she could have a lot of potential. I personally don't like A/M at all, never have, but I still think that if she were developed...yeah. Because it seems like EC was kind of hasty when he made her. If he'd spent more time on her, she could have been a lot better.

Maybe she would have potential, but he made more than a few mistakes that already deemed her doomed. The first one was that he named her "minerva," obviously an attempt to connect her and artemis, because they are then both named after a goddess. Secondly was the fact that he obviously brought her in as a love interest. Let us not forget that she also has so many similarities with Artemis, to the extent that it was painful. I think his idea was in the right mind set, but was poorly executed. Perhaps if he has made Minerva more opposed and different than artemis, she would have been better off.

| I finished the Lost Colony just now. Awesome book. - Spoiler:
TWINS!!! I kind of feel bad for Artemis. He's a seventeen year old in a fourteen year old body. The ending action between Artemis and Holly makes me wonder in the sixth book (if there is one{there better be!}) which girl will be in the canon pairing. You've got the ever short virtually everliving elf, Holly, and the the sharp, now-developed Minerva. They are both tsundere to a degree, and both have ties with Artemis. I'm not sure what the canon pairing will be, but I'm rooting for Arty/Holly. Minerva is too similar too Artemis. At least letthem disagree about something. I love Holly and Artemis' agruements. Kind of reminds me of Konata and Kagami in a way... Plus, what happened to Minerva's determination??? He beats her once and it's "let's be best friends"...That doesn't seem like her to me...I'm curious of what will happen next if when the sixth book comes out. Time to read the third book!!!
